Frequently Asked Questions

How does the CoolSculpting procedure work?
During the procedure, a non-invasive applicator delivers precisely controlled cooling (“cryolipolysis”) to target and eliminate fat cells in specific areas, such as the abdomen, love handles, and bra line fat. The exposure to cooling causes the fat cells to begin a process of natural removal, which gradually reduces the thickness of the fat layer.

How long until I notice results?
You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after two months. You body will continue flushing fat cells for up to six months after the procedure.

Are there any side effects:
There is no down-time with the procedure, however slight tenderness at the treated area, or a slight dulling sensation may be experienced in the treatment area for up to 4 weeks. Slight bruising, tingling, or prickly sensation may also occur.

Can I return to normal activities after my procedure?
Yes! The CoolSculpting procedure is completely non-invasive, so you can return to normal activities immediately, even exercise.

Do I need to take special supplements or follow a strict diet and exercise program?
No supplements or pills are required and you do not have to adopt a new diet or exercise plan.

Are the results permanent?
When you have your CoolSculpting procedure, the treated fat cells will be eliminated. As long as you maintain your weight with your normal diet and exercise, your long-term results should remain stable.
